With the world the way it is these days, I struggle with what is and isn't appropriate for my children's viewing. Did you know that Spongebob adversely affects learning for children 4 and under for up to four hours after having watched the little blob? Bizarre, right?
I, for one, have made mistakes with what I've allowed my children to see by blindly trusting the ratings and the trailers to represent what the film is about. What's okay for your kids may not be okay for mine. Every kid is different and has their own sensitivity levels. Which is why I started this blog.
As you can see, I don't have a whole lot of reviews on this yet and a whole lot of catching up to do. If there is a particular film you'd like reviewed, just drop me a line or comment on one of the posts and let me know. Having a video store gives me a lot of access to a lot of kid's movies.
Plus, I've just launched my own Amazon aStore called Movie Mamma's Movie Store. You can get to it on the Pages Tab Line. Don't worry I'm not getting paid for my reviews or anything like that. They will still be unrepresented as always. I just thought I'd give my readers an opportunity to purchase any movie they might be interested directly from my site. I do get a small commission, which is just one more way of trying to supplement my income as a mostly SAHM.
